Hi! ''Capture AVI'' and EasyCap was working great but a few moments ago when i wanted to record video VirtualDub stopped working and shows only a black screen on every input source. I don't know why because other program like Ulead or WinDVR shows picture. Anyone can help me?

Should have something to do with "Use OpenGL hardware acceleration".
This option must be deactivated/checked-out when in Capture mode,
via Video-menu > Source... (not to confound with 'Video Source' in the same menu).

If you have picture and sound in other programs when using your Easycap then there should not be a hardware problem.

Does your Easycap-device show up correctly in the Device-menu of VirtualDub (when in 'capture mode') and is indicated with ...(DirectShow) ?

When you say there is a 'black screen' on every input source ; do you mean in the Video source-menu: Video Tuner / Video Composite / Video Svideo ?

In the Video-menu, at Capture filter..., did (or do) you select the right 'Video standard' (NTSC, PAL, ...) ?

I'am sorry, these are only questions, no answers, but maybe it gives us some more information about the possible cause...

It is not hardware issue because WinDVR 3 shows image so why not Virtual Dub? He was working correctly and recorded gameplay from my EasyCap without any problems and after one day something has happend :/ I was testing Ulead Video Studio and then Virtual Dub stopped showing image but Ulead and any files connected with him are removed from the computer. Everything including drivers etc. is installed correctly.

Now the questions:

1. Yes, EasyCap is showing correctly in the device menu with DirectShow.
2. Yes and i tried every video standard (my console is PAL)

The issue is Abrazo is referring to pertains only to screen capture and doesn't apply to your capture device.

Do you have any interesting errors showing up in the log (Capture | Log, F8)? These would be of the form: CapDShow: failed to build filter graph: ....
