@phaeron,
Thank you for new fix. I tried test10. Output playback issue still continue (Is it just me? I can't be sure exactly ). Therefore, I can't use 1.10.3 builds.
Example video: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2538760/playpack_1....10.3-test7.rar 1) Open video. 2) Press to "Output playback". 3) 1.10.3 builds cannot playing properly.
my sys info: amd phenom ii x3, 4 gb ram, radeon hd 3200, win 2003 sp2 32bit |

Just for your information:
Personally I do not see any problem with your AVI file when playing via VirtualDub 1.10.3-test10 via Output playback.
The AVI seems to be DivX-encoded and there is no Audio-track (File > File information...). Do you have any "filters" applied when playing back or which Compression codec is active ?
What is exactly that "playback issue" that you want to mention ? Can you give a little bit more information. |

RE: Drag and Drop videos onto virtualdub where a window would show so can select decode filter to use for loading a video. The window list same as then one seen for open video file (decode filter list). The List window re-sizeable that can remember its size and position on screen. A switch for the window in settings for enable|disable. This maybe also suited for the batch wizard where atm, I find not able to load any non avi files there
Trying to process multiple videos drag and drop to the Batch Wizard. Though I cannot find where to choose the FFMpeg Input Driver codec needed to load the videos. Have I overlooked a way to choose a video decode filter to use with files dropped to the batch wizard
Also would be nice to use also processing settings active or load a previously saved processing settings to the batch wizard
update thought: Select and deselect chosen video decoder to use in settings good for drag and drop and normal file load use. Decoder stay active until deactive, maybe reminder somewhere (on screen or bar or load window!). Which would be used for virtualdub and the batch wizard and other places that allow drag and drop for video load. |

@Abrazo & @phaeron:
Thank your for your interest.
Finally, I found the source of the output playback. This registry settings;
| CODE | Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VirtualDub.org\VirtualDub] "Main prefs"=hex:00,00,00,01,00,00,00,00,20,03,00,00,40,00,00,00,41,00,00,00 |
I deleted this entry. And it's fixed. Now, output playback is working normal. I'm happy, because I are now beginning to use 1.10.3.x builds. |

Very serious bugreport. So serious that I don't even feel like creating separate thread.
 No, this is not about crash. That one is caused by hilarious memory leak in external module. I'm more concerned with the one where red arrow points. This is really a show-stopper for me and should be fixed as soon as possible. |
