I have a video that I am frameserving to a .vdr file and when I try to open it in another Virtualdub I get the error:
AVI Import Filter error: (unknown) (80040154)
The strange thing is that the .vdr file extension is listed as part of the "AVI File Input Driver" option in the "Open Video File" dialog.
The reason I want to frameserve into Virtualdub is because I need to combine two videos and then edit them to produce a final output. This has to be done in two steps because of an issue with the audio filters but the intermediary file is almost 3GB.
I figured I could combine the two videos and then frameserve to another Virtualdub where I could then edit and output the final compressed video.
Unfortunately Virtualdub can't seem to open its own frameserved file. |

Oops! Sorry, my mistake.
I noticed in the frameserve window that it said no clients were instlled. I ran 'auxsetup.exe' and now everything is fine.
