Hi All
I've just upgraded to vdub 1.10.1 build 34677 and think I may have found a bug that was in my previous version.
If I do a lot of edits - normally Mark In/Mark Out/Delete the video plays as expected and I can scroll through as expected - all the deletes are missing.
However, if I move to the middle or end of the file and select a filter, the displayed video is at an earlier part of the video. This seems to be a problem with the last version of vdub and this version. It's not dependant on which filter which implies to me that there's a problem passing the edit table to filters?
If you need more info, please let me know.
Cheers

Oops sorry forgot:
I'm running XP SP3 on a HP laptop and using MOV files via the fcc handler, although I've seen this behaviour in earlier versions of vdub with AVI files. |

The filter preview doesn't show edits if there is a frame rate change in the filter chain. This is to work around the issue where it can't tell how the timeline should be transformed to the new rate. You should only be getting this for certain filters, though. I tried this with resize and IVTC filters and the timeline edits showed up for the former. What filters are you trying, and did you have any other frame rate options active? |
