I'm using Virtualdubmod using a lossless codec called UTvideo inside an AVI container. When I convert from MPEG to AVI (utvideo) there's no problem and the program renders 100% of the file.

When I try to edit (adding a new track or using "append segment" to join two files) and click on "save" the program only renders 99% of the file. Two or three times it rendered 'just' until 96%.

I wonder why this happens and how can I solve it... Thank you in advance!

You might want to try using the current stable VirtualDub and input plugins (as listed in the Filter Development Forum) and try it again. VDMod is _really_ old tongue.gif

Thank you for the suggestion!
Which plugins should I install (and where if not at c:\programs) for UTvideo? UTvideo already works at virtualdub without installing plugins. The only problem with virtualdub is that I cannot add a second audio stream to the video. That's why I was using virtualdubmod, because it allows to add a second audio stream.
Is there a solution? Or should I use some video edit program like adobe premiere or vegas?

VirtualDub Mod allowed that because it could mux into different container formats like ogm / mkv.

VirtualDub sadly cannot do this. It has support for external encoders, but getting it to work is very tricky. And .avi do not officially support multiple Audio streams anyways. You would need to look at other tools like mkvtoolnix or such.

Greetings
