Hello,
First let me thank you for this excellent program. This is helping me too much. And almost flawless. Please keep this project up. With my best regards.
I am using 1.6.0 recent. My source settings are "Antenna, Channel 34" for capture. But when i run VirtualDub and switch to capture, my settings has been gone.
I checked my registry before running virtualdub.exe. "TunerFreq" is the same as my latest setting but it is/can not use it for some reason. When i enter "source..." the channel:4 , Entry: Cable everytime. But they must 34, Antenna.
System : XP sp1 cpu : p3 450 mhz VDub : Saved my "capture Preferences"
NOTE: I use one of "K-Lite Codec Pack" because of watching many different internet video sources. The problem is, my computer is a bit slow and when i want to capture from TV, virtualdub is loading ALL of the codecs first. But i always capture only one of the codec(which i already saved with "Capture Preferences") in codecs list. The others only for mplayer, for watching. I wish i may check the codecs which i prefer to load next time, till i need different(maybe). |

I would think that while Virtualdub does list all the codecs it only loads the codec it is using.
As for your antenna setting have you tried saving the processing settings (from the file menu) and loading them again before capturing? See if that works - and if it does you could do it automatically from a shortcut.

| for me, this is not completely exact. Ok, 7 codecs loading. For my system, waiting 1.5 min until ready to capture. |

There are two lines - For Win9x/ME remove the ""
@echo off start "" /max "c:\Program Files\V_Dub\VirtualDub.exe" /capture /capfileinc c:\storage\capture.avi |
