Hi, i was using virtualdub for more than six months..... but now when I open an avi I get "No audio decompressor could be found"

I can play the avi without problems in any media player.... and got all the codecs installed.

What can be ?

you dont have an acm (audio compression manager) for the audio, only a directshow-filter which VDub cant use...

check in the file info what the audio-tag is. for MP3 its 0055, for AC3 its 2000. you can find an AC3ACM overhere
