I'm having problems starting Virtualdubmod 1.5.1.0. It will only run once before I have to reinstall it. I'm not sure what is causing this. I've already run a scan for viruses, which didn't show anything.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

This has never happened before and just started recently. Reinstalling vdub each time I want to use it is a pain.

Well I didnt mean install in the sense that an official installer is used. Whenever I said install, I meant that I had to download the binary zip, and then extract it.

Each time I do this, it will only exec once or twice before it decides not to. I dont get an error message, I dont see a new process started. It just won't run. I checked the md5 checksum on the .exe before the problem, and after it started, and its different. So something is going on thats not right.

Dude, that's scary. I think you should do a virus scan right now.

I run a virus scan every single night, and nothing has ever come up. I'm using Norton 2003. Everything is up to date, so I really don't know what the problem is.
