I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
When I open an existing file with an audio stream, disabling the audio stream and then saving the file does not remove the audio stream from the file. Also, if I add another audio stream to the file and try and delete the original audio stream from the list, it will not let me delete it.
I've been using an old version without the streams menu. Is there something that I'm missing when I'm trying to delete an audio stream from a file? |

Audio streams coming from your video clip can't be 'removed' from the list (it's a 'security' to prevent you from doing so and then have to reopen the clip because you say 'crap finally I wanted to keep the audio' ). But the stream can be disabled.
It works here without problem in 1.5.1.1a : I open the file, disable the audio stream in the 'Streams -> Stream list' window and save it. The output file doesn't contain the audio. In previous versions it should work too, but the things to do depends on what is your clip : - AVI : choose 'No audio' in the 'Audio' menu - OGM : disable the stream (double-click, the 'Use' field will become 'No') in the 'OGM -> Show inputs' list.
