I recently installed SimpleDivX which uses VirtualDub for compiling the audio and video file. This app also creates the .vcf processing file. My problem is that the sound is out of sync. I read a few posts about using the audio skew, I can seem to sync up the beginning of the video but within 30 seconds it can be as much as 20 seconds out again. SimpleDivX creates four files, A .pcf, .avi, .wav & .ac3. What am I doing wrong?

Man, I can't wait for someone to answer this. I've been banging my head against this sync thing for a week.

You could try this: open Nandub ( www.doom9.org ) open the .avi file in Nandub open the .ac3 file as Audio Source and set Audio to Direct Stream Copy -OR- open the .wav file as Audio Source, set Audio to Full Processing Mode and chose a nice compression set Video to Direct Stream Copy save the file
