| hi the problem is when i encoding video virtualdub wiil stop encode at the same % every time at 89% every time i encode(i don't how know how to say stop or still it not abort) i don't know why because i can encode this file earlier i know the cause of this but i don't know how to fix the cause is when i add mp3 to avi file in steamlist the problem will happend like i tell you anyone please helpme |

| This is caused by a bug in the Creative MP3 codec -- the usual symptom is a stop around frame 9995. Current version of VirtualDub now have a workaround for the bug, but VirtualDubMod is too old. |

| ok thank you what differrent of mod and normal? i use mod encode anime mkv to avi.is normal version can? normal version can't add mp3 audio is there another way ? i can use mod version |

| Oh, if you're adding an MP3 file directly instead of compressing to MP3, that's a different story. I don't know what to tell you in that case. VirtualDub doesn't support MKV directly because it's too much of a codec mess, I'm afraid. You can read it if you use the experimental DirectShow input plugin that I wrote (search the testing forum) or use Avisynth with DirectShowSource. As for using an MP3 file directly for audio, that is now supported starting with 1.8.0. |

| my mkv that i extract there are h264 and mp3 then i use some program that make h264 to avi it can open in dubmod i encoded it complete but 2 day ago i want to encode it again this time i want to add subtitle in video but this time it has problem like i tell you in 2 ago day i have install program about mp3 mp3gain and lot of mp3 convert(acc to mp3) this may be a probrem but i don't know how to fix it(i don't know if i uninstall all of this will really remove all the file that is the cause of this problem). this time i don't think creative mp3 codec is the cause of this because i can't find ctmp3 like the other perople. but if you say tha 1.8.0 can add mp3 directly then i just use it. anyway thank ps does it like add mp3 in steamlist in mod ver? now i'm using 1.8.0 when i play output video it don't have sound that i added and encoding it don't display output video is anything wrong ? i try it already it don't work too stop at 89% again and again i'm so tired may be problem is my mp3 file? |
