Hi everybody!

i hope i'm writing in the right topic...
i am capturing a video in a camera that records 60 fpm. the capturing itself is done using AMCAP software.
first, i allocated file to write to (38 giga). Then, i capture (a 9 minutes video).

afterwards, i open it in virtual dub, change the frame rate to 60.000, compressing it with "Intel IYUV codec". finally i save it as .avi to a portable hard drive. i work with windows xp.

at the end of the video (and sometimes in the middle), the video goes fast and some frames are missing. it is very important to me to record the times (it's an experiment for my phd).

do you have any idea as to what can cause this problem, and how can i ensure that won't happen?
thank you for reading all of that smile.gif
