using virtual dub with divx 5.02 (gain) and the first pass runs great but when it tries to begin the second pass, it kicks out an error message that says "invalid log file"

Can someone tell me how to setup these log files so they can be read by virtual dub and divx. I know the problem is not with virtual dub as I can make vcd easily but not the elusive divx.
