I've used VirtualDub once or twice to remove some unwanted pieces from video files and then direct stream copying so I didn't have to reencode or anything.

Can virtualdub be made to edit .flv files? It doesn't recognise them natively it would seem, if not.. is there another program where I could just remove entire segments from a .flv file?

I have made an installer to install VirtualDub with a lot of input plugins and needed codecs, it open also FLV files.
If you want to try, it is here: http://forums.virtualdub.org/index.php?act...=ST&f=3&t=23203
