Does having a few usb ports with devices plugged in but not used, except for the mouse, cause video quality to degrade while capturing?
I have a usb cord connected in one of the hubs but not connected to any devices, that is my audio recorder connection for when I do use it. My mouse is only the other real connection in the back of the computer. |

Depending on your setup (operating system, motherboard, drivers), yes problems may happen, but not only regarding video, YMMV.
On my very-old Dell desktop, for example, if I turn it on with a USB stick plugged-in, it will freeze before the logon screen can appear Some days ago, I installed an internal USB HDD, and today I find that certain characters of M.U.G.E.N. can make the audio drivers go nuts |

Thanks wsm
Hmmm - that is strange. Does the audio issue lessen with taking out other USB devices? |
