I have set up some files that I though would auto append:
the syntax was 01 opening logo
02 june 5
03 june 7
04 june 9
etccccc.....
you'd think virtual dub would see this sequence but if I load 01 opening logo and click on append, it will only append 02 to the end.....
what am i missing here???? |

The files have to be numbered sequentially like this:
hello.000.avi
hello.001.avi
hello.002.avi
etc...
I'm not absolutely sure the red dots are needed; the main thing is, the names should all be the same, except for the serial numbers at the end.
There are batch file renaming utilities available to do this. One of them is IrfanView, which you might have on your system already. I made a guide for batch renaming with IrfanView, here. |
