VirtualDub's Help menu contains links to web pages which no longer exist since Avery Lee redesigned his web site. What if we could persuade Avery to release a new build with working links and also add a link to this forum? Then maybe we could change our name from "Unofficial" to "Official"! This would also benefit him by helping to reduce the amount of e-mail he must be receiving.

I don't think I'll be putting links into the program that point outside of virtualdub.org, because that domain is the only link I can count on to remain stable. Some people are still using rather old versions of VirtualDub, and once I put a link into a version it's carved into stone -- so it's safer to redirect from the official website should the forum link change or otherwise become invalid.
