Hello
Loading an avi, and make a selection in the movie. The only things you can do is to cut the selection out.
What I would like to do is select a period of time in a movie, and then save the selection to a file, and then (with the same input file) select a new period, save it to a new name.
And another thing: When you have a selection, could you make it possible to invert the selection?
Best regards /ZaRo |

After you make a selection, "save as avi" will only save that selected part, you don't need to actually cut any part out of the source for it to work So set the start point, set the end point, save, set a new start point, set a new end point save
Invert selection would be a problem, as you can only have 1 selected part If you select something in the middle then inverting it would select 2 sections
"Crop to selection" on the edit menu is the opposite of cutting out a selected part, it deletes whatever is before and after it
