Wow, quite a few updates since I last checked and since my last post (Nov. 16th 2014) ! Thanks for the work!
I just checked the file I had problems with before using the new FFinput Filter version.
I think the problem is still there, but as I checked it not by enconding but by simply going through the frames, I got an error message that might help to get to the bottom of the problem, i.e. decide if the problem is one of VD itself or the plugin (or the mkv file). Opening the file with VD's standard and going through the file at the same scene works without problems/errors.
The error message reads:
"Error reading source frame [...]: ffmpeg: discontinuity reading frame [...] - got the frame [...] (+1), aborted."
Btw.: Priority is disabled and "allowed missing frames" is set to 0 (because I thought 5 might have been the problem why VD dropped some and doubled the next one instead).
This error occurs for several frames within the checked scene, i.e. I guess these are all the same frames I had problems with the first time (= using the then current version).
