I have 2 movie clips that I downloaded from You Tube and I converted both of them to an AVI file. When I try to add sharpen or change brightness or whatever then I go to Save As, I get a message that says that it can not access the file because it is being used by another process.
I have shut down my computer and I have restarted it, but I always get this error message every time.
Thank you |

Maybe the answer is just that simple: you always must save your AVI to a "new" file.
You can NOT overwrite your already existing AVI while it is opened in VirtualDub.
So if you like to keep the original name of the AVI, then after having saved to a new file and having verified that you are pleased with the result, you can delete the original file and rename the new one. |
