Hi folks
is it possible to use windows media9 codecs in VirtualDub. At the moment I'm making some screencapture movies using CamStudio (I've used msu and xvid codec for these aswell) my problem comes when I upload my movies to bliptv as they seem to screw up if I use xvid or the msu lossless screecapture codec. Where as bliptv seems to be able to handle windows media 9 alot easier.

any away of VirtualDub ecoding media 9 instead of downloading mediaencoder?

I've used wmv9 a few times. Runs probably the slowest out of the codecs I do have but it works. Under the video menu >> compression >> wmv should be near the bottom. I always had used the default settings for wmv9, haven't played around with the settings much.

I should have made it a bit clearer when I said media 9 codecs the ones I want to use are the screen codec and voice codec is there anyway of getting VirtualDub to use these instead of the normal media 9 codec.

You can only use the wm9vcm codec in virtualdub. The other codecs are for wmv, which vdub don't work with.
