No problems using DivX either. XviD seems to be the problem. I guess there is a bug in XviD which results in it losing performance for some reason.

I may try with some older builds of XviD to see if they also suffer from this problem.

Glad you've found the problem
I use the Jawor version that has some extra profiles and options (packed bitstream profiles etc etc)
It's on this page, and I haven't had any speed problems with it

There is one 'gotcha' about changing versions of codecs
The data that's saved in the jobs list for the codecs settings is not always loadable by a different version of a the same codec
So it's best to swap versions after finishing or clearing your jobs list

I was already using Jawod's 1.3.2 build which was exhibitng the problem. However, I've just switched to Jawod's 1.2.2 build and in my first test no slowdown occurred, with both jobs completing in the same time.

I spoke too soon, as with the second test the first job slowed down near the end. sad.gif

I'm going to play around with the various XviD settings to see if one of them triggers this problem.

Did you try also with the official xvid v1.3.2 and the previous version is the problem with those also ?
