I'm having problems demuxing avi files with vbr mp3 as audio into Wav. I prefer using VDubMod 1.4.x (i'm using 1.4.13.2 right now) because when I save the WAV file, it gives me the option to add the task to the job control so I can run it later in batch mode. However when I click on Save it only demuxes for 1 second and leaves me with a wav file of 0 kb in size. Demuxing to Wav works fine with VDubMod 1.5.4.1, but in the Streams List window it doesn't let me add the task to the job control.

Can someone please help me out? Thanks!

I also have the same (sort of) problem.
In previous version (1.5.4.1) it didn't take long to save/extract audio
from the movie, - about 2..2.5 min.
Now it asks about 20 (!) minutes in Direct Stream Copy sad.gif
I tried original VirtualDub (1.5.10) and it took ~1.5 minut for the same movie.
I tried to turn off some Interleaving related features, but it didn't help.
Have to return back to 1.5.4.1 blink.gif

With the latest build (2389) my problem's (sort of) fixed smile.gif
Now it asks ~6.5 min. It's better than 20 (!), but still not ~3.
Next. After about 3 mins of work it hung the whole system,
I had to reboot sad.gif
Back to the ... 1.5.4.1 wacko.gif

Hello!
I'm also back on 1.5.4.1. There are still some issues in latest version. In my case VDMod wouldn't find ac3 decompressor.
But 1.5.4.1 works fine.

See ya.
