Unofficial VirtualDub Support Forums > VirtualDub Filters and Filter Development > Does Anyone Know Of A Color Temparature Filter?

I hope this is the right place to post this. After searching high and low I cannot seem to find a Vdub filter that performs color modifications/corrections by temparature. I find this kind of facility incredibly useful and powerful in Paintshop Pro, but cannot seem to find something similar to do the same for video. Any help would be gratefully received. Many Thanks. Ian.

I'm not sure what exactly color temperature is, but maybe my test version of the gradation curvs filter with hsv support could maybe help you. Within the hsv curve you can modify colors eg. if you want the yellow to be a bit more orange you can do it with the hue curve. Here you can find info & download of the test (beta) version: http://neuron2.net/board/viewtopic.php?t=623

The temperature (Kelvin) emulation in Paint Shop is done simply by finding black point and white point and shifting the gamma on R G and B. Bugs' (fantastic, übercool, nifty, groovy ... etc.) Gradation Curves filter can do just that. Only that it's not automatic, and with video that is a good thing (at least for me it is).
