I load a particular *.wmv and every frame, after it loads, says "MISSING CODEC" in the middle of an otherwise black screen. If I go to File -> File Information... I see that the "VCM codec (fourcc)" is "Missing codec (WMV3)". ffdshow video decoder configuration, the WMV3/9 format's decoder is wmv9 so it seems like it should be working but it isn't. I haven't rebooted the computer so I guess that could, in theory, fix it, but it seems like a reboot shouldn't be necessary... Any ideas?
