| Unofficial VirtualDub Support Forums > Advanced Video Processing > 5.1 Sound Problem In Sony Vegas After Recode |

| I can't seem to find any literature or reference to this problem so I thought I had better post for help. This probably is an issue with Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10, however since I will never get any help there, I need to find a workaround solution in Vdub. I am taking an AC3 audio file and VC1 video file that I processed and demuxed using DGindexNV & DGdecodeNV. I that ran these through vdub via avisynth to recode using full processing to an avi file that includes lagarith compressed video & PCM audio (48000Hz 4608 kb/s tot (6 chnls) ). All that is working great and this AVI file sounds perfect on video players. But when I import this into Sony Vegas, this insane thing happens where the 6 channels of audio import fine (and I can see the wavestreams fine for each channel) but on playback in Vegas I basically only hear music from the audio tracks. There is no voice or sound effects. Thoughts? |
