Hi there. i downloaded a movie with invalid resolution 352x195 !!! As a result, i cannot normally play the movie in wmp(6.4,7,8,9) bsplayer, or any other player i tried. When i try to play it in wmp, i have some colored echo of image 5cm left and righ from every point. In Bsplayer, i have geen vertical lines in overlay mode. When i try to apply the resize filter in dub for example 352x200 the result is good and plays with no problems, But movie is extremely long 2.5h and recompressing the whole movie will significally reduce the quality even if i use xvid/divx 2 pass encoding. Is there any way to inser some gorisontal black line of 1 pixel i.e. 352x195 -> 352x196 without recompressing or alter the video in some other way to fix the problem? Any help is welcome.

Try ffdshow's resize functionality. http://cutka.szm.sk/ffdshow/download.html

Thanks Muf, It works. I use ffdshow, just didn't know such option exists. Changed 352x195 -> 352x208 Amd as a result the green mess is now only the last few pixels of picture - not noticable at all. Thanks for great idea.
