Hi

Some divx movies I have downloaded have an unrecognised audio format. I need to convert the audio to uncompressed pcm but virtual dub throws up this message and won't let me contuinue...

'The requested audio compression is not compatible with the input format. check that the sampling rate and channel count of the input match those of the requested format.'

Also...

Under File information - Audio Stream - compression: Unknown (tag 2000)

I have downloaded nimo, tsnumai (spelling?) and other codecs but these don't help.

The movies play under windows media player (6.4 7.xx)

Under properties in windows media player 6.4, Filters in use are: default direct sound device, divx4 decoder filter, intervideo audio filter, morgan stream switcher, subtitle mixer and video renderer.

For you information, I use lsx mpeg encoder which requires uncompressed audio to convert to mpeg 2 (for dvd).

Please help me uncompress the audio from my movie files!

Thanks in advance

Simon
