| As the descriptions says: i'd like to cap VirtualDub with OBS. I tried other capture card applications but so far all of them drop at least some frames or cause tearing. VirtualDub displays the picture of my card absolutly flawless but i can't get it to show up in OBS. My question is: Is there a way to get a virtual camera feed from VirtualDub? |

| I don't know, but if OBS is like Fraps, it works best with Direct3D or OpenGL applications. I would try Virtualdub Options, Preferences, Display, enable DirectX, use Direct3D. |

I tried this already. It Didn't work. Neither capturing the screen nor adding the VirtualDub exe as a source works. OBS only displays a black screen. |

| Set the display mode to Preview, Preview Acceleration enabled. Otherwise, DirectShow may still use its own rendering method. Still can't guarantee this would work, though, not knowing the details of OBS' 3D capture. |
