| So I finally got VD working on my Windows laptop. And I have a test 15fps .MOV file from a Nikon Camera that I want to convert into a 1fps timelapse. I've set VD up to do a "decimate 15 frames" and it does indeed drop the other 14 frames and keep the 60fps speed, thus making a nice timelapse -- ALMOST exactly what I want. But what I'm *really* looking for is for the 15 frames to be "averaged" together (rather than drop 14 frames out of 15) which would give a nice, smooth, look to the timelapse. Not sure if VD can do this (hoping there is some hidden feature somewhere), but perhaps I'm simply using the wrong software. And no, I can't afford Adobe After Effects!!! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Michael |

| Maybe you should do a few tests with the 'Interpolate' filter (via Video > Filters... > Add...). You can choose the new frame rate and with the 'Blending' option you can make a fade over from one image to another. |
