Hello ! I can't play correctly a segmented AVI saved with VirtualDub 1.8.5. The original file is played fine. I use Direct stream copy with the video and the audio. With Media Player Classic, the audio plays fine but the video is very slow. With VLC, the video is fine but the sound is chopped. Here it's the segmented AVI : http://localhostr.com/files/dfec6a/Hard.S01E06.FINAL.FRENCH.PDTV.XViD-STG.00.avi How can I solve this problem ? pihug12

Looks like the segmented output code doesn't handle VBR properly. I'll put it on the list of things to fix (not a trivial fix, unfortunately).

Can I do something to help or I just wait ? http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/ does correctly this job. It builds a VBR Time map and unpacked Bitstream when I open the video. EDIT : http://ndub.sourceforge.net/ does that great too. pihug12

Nope... it's not a hard problem, I just have to recode the routine. Update: Fixed -- please check 1.8.6 test-2 (http://forums.virtualdub.org/index.php?act=ST&f=15&t=16095).
