| Good evening, I recently ripped around 140 AVIs from episodic DVDs using Dr DivX. Because I only had access to the DVDs for a limited time, I didn't really check them as I was going along and now have at least a quarter of them demonstrating the following problem - there is an loud click at the beginning of the faulty episodes then, although the video is fine, the audio is slowed right down - like paying a 45 at 16, to use an analogy that really shows my age! Is there anything I can do with VirtualDub (which I'm VERY new to) to repair my AVIs? needless to say, I don't have the original DVDs any more! Thanks in advance Pete |

| Hm dont know how you could achieve this with VDUB. Solution would be to rip off audio parts with e.g. SUPER http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html. Pick Audioonly container e.g. mp2 Then load audiotrack into http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ select ALL and pick effect SPEED and change it until it match to your video. After this start VDub and sync Audio and Video use interleave to play audio earlier or later. |
