| I'm sorry if this question does not in fact concern VirtualDub, but I'm trying to learn... I am recutting a film in an AVI file in Premiere, but in order to do so, I must separate sound and picture. Using Virtual dub I have produced a WAV file of the sound-rack, which plays perfectly well in any player, but when I import it into Premier, it is suddenly 50 times as long... and consists of nothing but bumps and scratches. Is this because I am not exporting the sound properly from VirtualDub? I am simply loading the film and clicking Audio/ wav audio/save... Of course, the problem may be purely in Premier. If anybody has any ideas, I'd be very greatful. N Burch |

| Not that I have experience with Adobe Premiere, but you might try passing it an uncompressed WAV file. You can do this by changing the audio mode to Full Processing Mode in VirtualDub prior to writing out the WAV file. |
