| Hi I've been using Virtualdub for like 6 Months now and I love it I have it on both of my computers and Tmpgenc. OK I don't know how much to say but I use Virtualdub to rip the wav from a divx before I mpeg it. But for some reason it has stopped doing it on one of my computers when I try to save the wav it says. Virtualdub Error The Requested Audio Compression is not compatible with the input format.Check that the sampling rate and channel count of the input match those of the requested format. I also downloaded Virtualdub1.3 and it said ACM Failed to Suggest audio Decompression format. And when I click ok it says AVI Out Put Wav:The Handle is Invalid Like I said I have Virtualdub on my other computer and it works fine This problem just started on this computer before this it was running fine on here soo can anyone help me? |

| Hi It seems you are using the 'Full processing' mode for audio ('The Requested Audio Compression ...'). This means you need a suitable ACM codec to decompress the audio data. There are some formats for which there isn't such ACM codecs (e.g. AC3) and in thia case you will get such an error. If so you can also extract the audio out of the file ('Direct stream copy') and process it externally (using suitable tools such as BeSweet etc...) |
