| I installed the driver from here http://home.comcast.net/~fcchandler/Plugins/FLV/index.html ,but when I tried to load the video.flv , it said "missing codec." I never had this problem for other video such as wmv , or vob , so why is .flv making such problems ? |

Because in FLV video is encoded in other formats - FLV1/H.263 or FLV4/VP6F or H.264/AVC - and you do not have installed VfW codecs for them. You can use http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.net/ VfW to decode these vid's (go to ffdshow video encoder config and Decoder tab). As well as for H.264/AVC can use http://www.videoaudio.pl/infusions/pro_download_panel/download.php?did=354. Also, to decode AAC audio you need http://home.comcast.net/~fcchandler/AACACM/index.html. |
