| Hi guys This is my first post,got couple movies and wanted to do my SVCD as allways.This movie creates problem for me. The Error is: Virtual Dub requires a Video for Windows (VFW)compatible codec to decompress video.Direct Show codecs,such as those used by Windows Media Player,are not sutable. Can anybody help me with this one,Please. |

| You can install every divx codec you want but it doesn't run under xp. don't know why but it sucks real hard, cause i mostly use the divx codec. |

| Because I need audio for my movies.If you use TMPEGnc ,how do you get audio with picture.Talking about Super VCD.

Divx 5 works fine under XP SP1 here with Virtualdub. Divx5's main encoder/decoder module should be VFW. The only directshow component is one of the decoders. So I am at a bit of a loss as to why it is complaining about VFW decoders. As always a complete uninstall and re-install is recomended. |
