| It is working as intended, it is reporting that the jpg vfw codec is missing. Look here: http://forums.virtualdub.org/index.php?act=ST&f=7&t=19488 Install ffdshow-tryouts and enable jpg in the VFW interface of ffdshow-tryouts. |

thanks! but I can't find any infos concerning the missing codec in the referenced post... I installed ffdshow tryouts, but where can I enable jpg and how does VD find the codec? |

ffdshow video encoder configuration > Decoder > Codecs > MJPEG Also it is possible to use VirtualDub internal decoder. Ask for extended options after this dialog when open .mov file and enable Defer video decoding to VirtualDub option. BTW It's " jpg" or "jpeg" FourCC? |
