Audio view have not one yet, or maybe i've missed it (don't know how). Is there one in virtualdub for use with editing the ( in | out ) edit markers to match audio change. For example when a drum starts will be a sudden peak in audio graph view and may need to be on a differnt frame for that start then one chosen blindly as i do now. Something that would sit along the whole length, above or below the timeline.

Discription maybe audio waveform view is maybe better. But would this be ok even if it is showing non wave audio at the time.

The audio display will allow you to do this, by showing the audio waveform or spectrogram at the current point. However, a major limitation in current versions is that the audio display only works with an uncompressed audio track.

Yes thanks i found it and your correct only with waveform. I wonder if work is been done for compressed audio, as needed aswell.

The audio display would better located on Audio menu, since it is directly relevant to audio itself.
