Unofficial VirtualDub Support Forums > General Discussion > A Possibility To Keep A Transparent Level In Virtu

Hi, i am new to this forum so please dont blame me for my bad english or my knowledge of Virtual Dub. I am using Virtual Dub to save screenshots i captured from a computergame as an *avi file. I tried to change some screenshots with Adobe Photoshop and saved them with 90% of opacity on the transparent screen. On Adobe Photo Shop i see that it is transparent, but if i renderd the screenshots to an avi demo, Virtual Dub just use White instead of transparent. If i put the screenshot in Sony Vegas or smt, i cant look through the clip to see an other clip in the background. I hope you understand whats my problem. Sincerely yours.

VirtualDub doesn't currently support the non-standard 32-bit ARGB format some editors use for translucent AVIs.
