Unofficial VirtualDub Support Forums > General Discussion > Audio Samples X-y Could Not Be Read In The Source
Posted by: AlphaN May 7 2007, 11:06 PM
Hi, while trying to convert uncompressed DV AVI's to DIVX, I'm encountering the error written in the title in some of the AVI sources. Audio samples 76358400-76367999 could not be read in the source. The file might be corrupted. Just opening the file in a fresh VirtDub session and playing the exact error location gave the same error even without any filters and modified settigs. The file(s) do run in several players without any problems though. Could there be any pre-processing (via any 3rd party) to "fix" the audio streams so VD runs smoothly and finishes the job. Thanks, AlphaN
