Hi, I was trying to fix it myself but i simply ran out of options, I feel hopeless right now :[

Thing is when Im trying to start processing video im getting this error: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/207/errorwu.png/

Here is crashinfo.txt : http://i.minus.com/1335469664/brhtTd6wVLkvN6ySiveeKw/dN6x1ovVwSrH8.txt

And here are my processing settings: http://i.minus.com/1335469089/CM1YiWEHgTQ7kbqrizyERA/dvfGtL1yUZDe9.vcf

I thought it was somehow connected with codecs so I unistalled my CCCP codec pack, then reinstalled it. Didnt work. Then i Uninstalled and reinstalled every possible codec i've got but im still getting this error. So after this I tried to reinstall virtualdub - same error. Tried many different codec combinations - CCCP, K-Lite codec pack, xvid, ffdshow - still getting this error... somebody please help me :C

the crashinfo and vcf are showing as 'file unavailable'

the screenshot shows that xvid is crashing
that's usually a crash in decoding the origional, and that's usually because the file is damaged

you can try forcing ffdshow to decode it instead
check ffdshow's vfw config and make sure it's xvid decoding is enabled
then open the video in virtualdub from the menu entry ->open avi
select the file, tick 'ask for extended options after this dialog', then click ok
on the next dialog, tick 'force video format fourcc code to' and tick 'force video codec fourcc handler to'
then in both text boxes for those ticks, type in ffds
click ok

if you check the menu for file information, ir should show the decompressor as 'ffdshow video codec (ffds)'

see how that copes with the file

First of all - thank you for response.

here is crashinfo and processing settings again: http://speedy.sh/hWYw6/crashinfo-processingsettings.zip

The method with using ffdshow doesnt work at all. First of all files are huuuuuuge, second - when I click on video->compression I DONT see ffdshow video codec chosen (its Uncompressed RGB/YCbCr). I really would love to use xvid since I did this many times before and I know how to set good quality with not so big output size.

EDIT: I think that I somehow managed to fix the problem, not sure how though... I uninstalled xvid and installed it again for like 10th time today and created new processing settings, I think thats all what I did and it seems to work now. Dont even wanna touch anything now since its ok. weird wink.gif
