I don't know if this is a bug or not. When i delete a part of a video, that part of a wav i imported is also deleted. this also happens if i copy and paste a part of that video into another part of it, that part of the audio plays. anybody know how to make the wav audio go strait through.

This is intentional -- video and audio are always cut together. (I made the mistake of saying that there is an option to disable this; there isn't.) There is a possibility of putting in an option to disable this behavior, but I haven't added it to the current build.

I'd love to have the option to choose. that would be great!

The way to overcome this problem is to save the audio from start to finish in the original file using the "Save WAV" option and then save the edited video using the save as AVI option using direct stream copy if you are editing at key frames or re-encoding the video if you are not and then reload the video and select "Browse for audio" and attach to original audio to the video and save the combined AVI again.
