I get the following error message loading AVIs into VDMod 1.5.1.1a "This application failed to start because MSVCRTD.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." or a copy of MSVCRTD.dll will too, which I'm sure I had but seems to be missing now. does anyone know where to find a copy?

I just narrowed it down, it's DivX3 causing the problem, I have no idea why either, since it's being decoded by ffdshow

or actually it'd be ffvfw decoding for VDMod, wouldn't it, anyway, like I said before, does anyone know where to get a copy of that file?? it'd be so nice if MS made a package of all these REQUIRED files themselves.

Somehow I have that file (though I'm pretty sure it didn't come with Windows). Send me a PM with your email address and I can mail it to you.

Sarreq, it seems you are using a debug build of VdubMod ? Did you compile it yourself ? The file you need is the debugger DLL coming with VC6++ ......

Not necessarily. This problem can come from any component that the program triggers (this can be a codec, a dll - such as AviSynth - etc). If he had compiled the program himself he wouldn't have problems running it (since that means he would have all the necessary files). |
