Posted by: invasivedoc Jul 31 2002, 04:43 PM
I have a video file where there is something wrong with the audio and VDUB won't export to WAV. What is the procedure? Will converting to no-compression audio and then export work?

thanks...

Will the file play correctly ? Any distortions in the audio or dropouts ?

If it plays correctly we will for sure be able to create a playback graph in graphedit and save the file with a file writer filter, instead of giving it to audio renderer .. please ans wer my questions as detailled as possible ( what players work if any, any desync, distortios, dropouts, etc. ).

sometime ago I had something similar... my little "trick": instead of 'save as wav' (lalala.wav) name it to lalala.mp3. In my case it worked for me - I demultiplexed a crappy soundfile with VD just by changing the extension from wav to mp3.

If it still won't work then you have to stick to Christians way... as he said as detailled as possible

regards Sill
