Hello!
The new version of MSU Logo Remover has been released and now available for download http://compression.ru/video/logo_removal/index_en.html

Example of work http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYeHhAx_WvA
Features of new version:
1. Automatic detection of semitransparent logos
2. Automatic detection of animated logos
3. New method for removing semitransparent logos
The main feature of the new version is the fully automatic work. Just select logo type and run filter twice in detection and removal mode. Now you don't need to waste time to configure filter or draw mask manually.

Note: If you want to edit mask manually, you should use the previous version that is also available for download http://compression.ru/video/logo_removal/index_en.html

Also I’m going to answer any your questions about using this filter.

Hello,
I just download this filter and put it in the plugin32 directory of the Virtuadub 1.9.11 (32 bits)
Unfortunatly when I try to add it , I don't see it in the list : Then try to load it but get a VirtualDub error window : "cannot load plugin module ' C:\program files\Virtualdub-1.9.11\plugins32\MSU_logo_removal.vdf'"

I have tried to download the filter from some other web sites, they all have the same size and date :
Bytes : 70144 , date : 27/04/2011 16:08

Can you see where could be my mistake ?
Thanks in advance for answer

This plugin requires MSVCP100.dll and MSVCR100.dll libs - install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package.

I think asking on forum.compression.ru might have better chances to be noticed. Or just email them.

I have emailed them with no success on multiple times. So I figured since some members are active here, they would pass the word along.

I see some updates on some features but in general the filter page is out of date. I think there are three active MSU members on this forum and I never actually knew there was an MSU forum lol.

Is there a english version of the forums?

I remember once upon a time there was an English subforum but I don't see it now.
Anyway I think if you post in English they will understand. Try here:
http://forum.compression.ru/viewforum.php?f=6

However that forum seems as dormant as MSU group website. It was more active back in the day. And then most compression-related discussions moved to English-speaking forum on http://encode.ru/ .
