I have a geforce 4 128mb with vid in and out. running xp pro

Is it possible to capture from a video composite source (cable) that is transmitting a negative image, and invert it on the fly?

I have managed to use sonic foundry vegas video to capture and then convert with an invert filter however this is time consuming .

What i need to do is apply the filter to the streaming video...

Is this possible?

In Virtualdub you could apply filters while capturing a clip and then play it back as soon as the capture is over.

Use the Matroska file format

Are there any other software apps that are capable of such a thing?
