Hi there,
I've got a big Problem: I am using a 950 MHz Athlon, a Pinnacle TV Studio and an universal WDM BT Driver, but even at 352*288 the frame rate is at about 15 fps and the video still is a bit jerky (with every compressor, even with no compression). To solve the problem I did erverything mentioned in the capture FAQ, including a change of my W2K system to a non ACPI System. The IRQs aof the capture card and the NVIDIA2 card are not the same. I upgraded EVERY driver, including the VIA 4 in 1. The real strange thing is that I can capture perfectly with direct show applications, such as DSCALER or ULEAD Video Studio (even at higher resolutions), but with them the sound gets out of sync. I tried really a long time to get around this, because VDUb is the only Prog for me to sync audio and video. By the way, the modified version of VDub doesn't work either. Is there anaything I can do to get my tapes on CD? Any suggestions? Many thanks,

Ha!
It was a long night, but: I took my old Win ME as OS and the Pinnacle 4.02 driver and: 25 fps, almost no dropped frames. BUT: The video is still jerky, and I don't know why. Even at very small ( 90 x 90 ) resolutions. I don't understand this, because the overlay window doesn't show this jerks. Can anybody help? Thanks, Fank |

Haha!
Or should I say Hoho? 25 fps and 0 dropped frames under WinMe with old Pinnacle 4.02 drivers and the sync-Version of virtual dub. What I learned: Sometimes downgrade is better... So try this if you have a Pinnacle card. Many greetings,

My experience that I got from other boards: If you a Pinnacle Card, then go and buy a new one or get mad.
