Hi all,

I got Windows XP Pro and W98SE (dualboot) on my PC (2.4GHz PIV, GA-8PE667 Ultra) and an analog DC10+ capturing device. It works very well under W98SE, but unfortunately the Pinnacle drivers suffer from the 71-minute-problem. This problem is solved on XP, but as the XP drivers are WDM, VirtualDub doesn't work with it. And the Studio 8 program (which works with DC10+) suffers from a video/audio sync problem (no 71-minute-limit anymore though). I0d really like to use VirtualDub under XP, as I hope it solves the sync problem... but is there any way to do it? I heard about a WDM/VfW wrapper that could be used... how is this done? And does it work together with the DC10+ at all?

Thanks for any help,
Andy

Of course I read the FAQ. If you're trying to say that it just doesn't work, then that's it and naturally I'm not happy about it. But the FAQ is not so strict and is stating severel potential wrapper-options, without guarantees. I could not make them work with the DC10+, but maybe somebody else did. Hence my posting. If I overread something in the FAQ, I'd be more than glad to get to know what could improve the situation.
