I have installed the VFWWDM like was instructed in VirtualDub's homepage. Still when I try to capture video, it says "Error 418: Capture device was not detected". I press OK. Then comes another information dialog, where it says that it's trying to connect to other available capture drivers, and finally, the last dialog informs that no connection to any capture driver was made.
I have Ati Radeon DDR Vivo, with the very newest drivers.

What system are you running ? Did you open and close your TV application before starting Capturing in VDub. I have got the same capture card and no problems at all.
