Capture Guides, (In English?)

Hello,

I'm not sure if this should be posted here - or in the newbie section - so I'll try it here first!

In the FAQ's there were some capture guides listed. Unfortunately I am really bad at any language other than English. And although I work with 2 people from Germany I don't think they'll want to translate for me! sad.gif

So, does anyone know of any good capture guides that are written in English?

I'm really, really new at this (in other words the jargon here scares me!)

I want to take home movies from my Hi8 tapes to DVDs for 'posterity' and to share with family. I've captured parts of some of them, but I want to make sure I'm doing it 'right' (aka HIGH QUALITY) before I embark on the 'big' project.

Any info appreciated!

Thanks...

Hi,

our friend Smokeslikeapoet started to prepare such a Guide, i hope he will be able to finalize it any time soon, now that the demand is there.
